Terms of Service

DivisionCero terms and conditions of service: platform usage rules, account responsibilities, plans, payments, usage, badges, self-hosting and limitations.

Effective from: October 30, 2026

This is a translation for reference only. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Use of the platform

You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of all material you upload to the platform. By uploading it, you grant us a license to use it for the purposes of the service's functionality, such as making backups. Uploading illegal or harmful content, or content that infringes third-party rights, is prohibited.

3. Our platform

We aim to offer 99.9% availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may evolve over time. Reverse engineering, reselling or misusing the platform is not allowed.

4. Plans

Current plans and prices are published on the pricing page:

  • CyberAcademy (personal account): Free, Certificaciones and Medallas.
  • CSaaS (company account): Free, Starter and Pro.
  • Self-hosting (license for your own infrastructure): Community, Company of 10 to 50 employees and Company of 50+ employees.

CyberAcademy plans are bought from your personal account; CSaaS and Self-hosting plans, from the company's account on the platform. The CSaaS Free plan includes the company dashboard and the Assessments module with DivisionCero's assessment catalog; the other modules require a paid plan.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly as you choose when you subscribe (the Medallas plan is offered with yearly billing only). Payments are processed by our payment provider and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period with the payment method on file until you cancel it.

By subscribing to a plan you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy; we keep a record of that acceptance (date, document versions, IP address and browser).

Charges are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; changes and cancellation take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Prices do not include the taxes that apply in your jurisdiction.

Prices are set in US dollars (USD). Depending on your location, our payment provider may show the charge in your local currency, converted at the exchange rate of the day it is made; the local-currency amount may vary between charges, and your bank may apply its own conversion fees.

6. Base SKUs and additional usage

Each paid CSaaS and Self-hosting plan includes the base SKUs described on its pricing card. Usage beyond the base SKUs of your plan is billed as an additional charge on the next invoice of your subscription and charged automatically to the payment method on file. We will send you the usage detail before each additional charge.

The Starter plan is meant for companies of up to 50 employees and the Pro plan for companies of more than 50 employees or that use single sign-on (SSO). The platform does not block these capabilities: if we detect that your company goes beyond the scope of its plan, we will contact you to adjust it.

7. When a plan is cancelled or expires

When a CSaaS subscription ends, your company's data is kept and becomes read-only in the modules that require a paid plan; it becomes editable again once a plan is active. Integrations (API, MCP and webhooks) are unavailable while there is no active plan. Certificates issued during a CyberAcademy subscription remain valid.

8. Physical badges

The Medallas plan includes physical badges for the certifications you earn. Badges are requested through our WhatsApp channel from the platform; we check that the account has an active Medallas plan before arranging the shipment. Delivery times, geographic coverage and any shipping or customs costs not included are shared when each request is arranged.

9. Self-hosting

The Community edition is open source and free for organizations of up to 9 employees with annual revenue of up to 100K USD. Paid Self-hosting plans are bought from a company's account on the platform and activate the premium features of your installation: activation is tied to the email address of the owner of that company, verified with a code sent to that address, and the installation periodically checks that the subscription is still active. If the subscription ends, the installation returns to the Community edition without deleting your data. You are responsible for operating, securing and backing up your own infrastructure.

10. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect damages or for the consequences of unauthorized access to your account.

11. Data governance

The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of relevant changes and, when they apply to a paid plan, ask you to accept them again.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws, without prejudice to the rights you have in your jurisdiction.

15. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, you can contact us through our official channels.
