Access Management during Employment

Provisioning Access According to the Employee's Role

Granting access according to role, not more

Access provisioning should follow the principle of least privilege: each employee receives only the permissions needed to do their job, no more and no less, from their first day of work. In practice, this is made easier through access profiles predefined by role, so HR simply indicates the position and the identity management system automatically assigns the corresponding permissions, without depending on case-by-case manual requests that tend to grant broader access than necessary "just in case". This approach not only reduces the risk of misuse, but also speeds up onboarding, since the employee has the tools they need from the start without depending on scattered approvals across different technical areas.
