The CIA Triad: Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability
The 3 pillars of security
Create a tool for explaining and identifying the CIA triad: Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability
Team, these are the three most mentioned words in the context of information security:
Confidentiality: only authorized people can access the information. Integrity: data isn't altered or manipulated without permission. Availability: systems and data are accessible when needed.
Team, rather than memorizing a definition, what interests me in this space is that we identify when one or more of the components of the CIA triad is affected; in this tool we can do practical exercises to identify when some of them are affected.
The tool is shown and three exercises are done.
