How to recognize a stranger on the internet
A stranger on the internet is anyone you don't know in real life, even if they seem very nice in the chat, share funny photos or say they're your age, because on the internet anyone can write whatever they want about who they are, and sometimes the person behind the screen isn't who they say they are. This doesn't mean all strangers are dangerous, but it does mean you need to be as careful with them as you would be with a stranger who approaches you in the park, without giving personal information or agreeing to meet in person without an adult knowing. One sign to recognize them is when someone you just met in a game or on a social network starts asking lots of questions about where you live, what school you go to or asks you for photos, and if that happens, the best thing is to stop answering and tell a trusted adult right away.
