Brand Threat Monitoring
Using Threat Intelligence
Threat intelligence applied to brand protection
Threat intelligence is the process of collecting and analyzing information about malicious actors, fraud campaigns and attack trends to get ahead of them before they affect the brand. Instead of reacting once a phishing campaign has appeared, brand protection teams use specialized feeds, dark web forums and industry reports to identify early signs, such as the sale of stolen customer credentials or phishing kits that replicate the corporate site. Applying this intelligence in practice makes it possible to prioritize resources, for example by focusing monitoring on the channels where threats against the sector actually circulate, instead of watching the entire internet indiscriminately.
