Team Maturity and Assessment

Continuous Improvement and Team Growth Plan

Closing gaps and scaling the team

Assessing the team's maturity only has value if the results translate into concrete actions. A continuous improvement plan takes the identified gaps, for example through SIM3, and turns them into prioritized initiatives with an owner, deadline and assigned budget, whether hiring a missing forensic profile, automating a manual process or formalizing a playbook that today only exists in one person's head. The plan should be reviewed in regular cycles, aligned with the maturity assessment and with changes in the organization's threat landscape. As the team grows, this plan should also anticipate scalability: which processes will stop working when the volume of incidents doubles, and which capabilities need to be built before that happens.
