What cybersecurity is and why it matters

Team, to explain what cybersecurity is I always love this formula: coherence + trust = cybersecurity. Coherence between what we define or establish and reality, whether in our personal or professional life or in the corporate context; and trust is the essential result we must give to those outside, such as our customers if we have a SaaS or a company, or our family, our students; it applies in every scenario.
Being a bit more formal, as a term, cybersecurity is the set of practices, technologies and processes designed to protect computer systems, networks, devices and data from attacks, unauthorized access, damage or information theft.
How much do we lose if we don't implement it? We can lose companies, affect people and jobs and, sadly, even family members, because there are risks that can affect the mental health of many of us; so quantifying it is hard, because in some scenarios it's invaluable.
